The Guilford Courthouse Fife and Drum

Historyman presents the Guilford Courthouse Fife and Drum.  The fife and drum in the armies of the American Revolutionary War were significant for many reasons, not just on the battlefield.  The musicians were a timepiece for the day, a pace setter for the march, entertainment in the camp, and a communication tool during battle.  Armed with only their musical instruments, they were very much on the front lines and faced the violent walls of led that were fired.  Come walk in the footsteps of the musicians of 18th century armies on the American continent.  Freedom Reigns!
